Structural monitoring systems allow for obtaining structural parameters and therefore the structural state of a structure. It allows for optimal and efficient maintenance of the structure and ensures a safe operation.
Both permanent and temporary monitoring systems can be worked out at any stage of the building process. Permanent monitoring systems are however best worked out during the structure’s design stage and set up during construction, as this will allow optimal maintenance information for when the structure is in operation.
